Welcome from Dean Mago & Event Logistics 10-10:15 a.m. EST

Join Statler College Dean, Pedro Mago, as he welcomes attendees to the day's event! Our recruitment team will then walk you through the logistics of the day's proceedings to help you have a smooth, enjoyable, information-packed experience!

    Statler College Overview 10:15 - 11 a.m. EST

Join our recruitment team, Ryan Sigler and Cate Schlobohm, for an interactive presentation about WVU's Statler College. Learn about the majors offered, admission criteria and paths to graduation, student life  and engagement opportunities within the College, and of course, learn where our alumni have landed! This will be one of your first opportunities of the day to ask our recruitment team any questions you may have about WVU or the Statler College specifically. Don't worry, though! There will be more opportunities to ask questions throughout the day--our goal is that no one leaves this event with unanswered questions!

Statler College Lab Tours 11- 11:30 a.m. EST

In this session, you will be guided by our current students through some of our facilities. These labs will include the Formula one vehicle lab, the Innovation Hub labs, the rig floor simulator, and our Engineering Learning Center. Our students will show you where you will be able to work and learn, as well as telling you about their experiences with these locations.

    Live Lab Tour Session

    Young Alumni Panel & Current Student Panel 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. EST

For the first half hour, four young alumni, from across the country, join us for today's events. You'll learn how WVU prepared these young professionals for their transition from college to industry, and how they compared to peers from other institutions. You'll meet Gabrielle Hedrick, C.J. Hores (Deloitte), Samantha Keyes, and David Johnson (AECOM).

In the second half hour, you'll meet four current students who can share their everyday experiences as WVU Statler College Students. They are the experts on student life and classes, so make sure you take this opportunity to find out everything you want to know about living and learning at WVU. Students on this panel include: Eleanor Kearney (Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering); Abby Baker(Industrial Engineering); Raafay Uqaily (Biomedical Engineering); Michael Barchett (Computer and Electrical Engineering)

During both of these panels, you will be able to unmute yourself to ask questions live, or you can type your questions into the chat to find answers to all the things you're really interested in learning more about.

    Do you need help?

Throughout the day we will have a help session staffed by members of our recruitment team and Statler Ambassadors where you can drop in and get help or be pointed in the right direction. This "Help Desk" is open from 9:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. so feel free to drop in if you need help navigating today's event! We will also be monitoring our social media accounts and Statler-Info@mail.wvu.edu throughout the event.
