EngineerFEST

EngineerFEST is designed for incoming students to learn about the engagement opportunities with the Statler College. Students have the opportunity to hear from the 40+ Statler-affiliated student organizations through a series of recruitment-style meetings over a ten-day period. The calendar of events is below, as well as links to each of the student organizations.

Students in ENGR 191 are required to attend at least three meetings. At each meeting, the organizations will take attendance to report back to FEP.

Event Logistics

EngineerFEST 2021 will be a combination of in-person and virtual events to be as flexible for FEP student needs as possible. In the new format, you'll have the opportunity to interact with as many student organizations that you'd like over the ten-day period without the constraints of time or space!

Students who are currently enrolled in ENGR191 are required to attend a minimum of three EngineerFEST recruitment meetings. Here are the steps to ensuring you receive credit for completing this requirement.

  • Check the calendar of events below and pick a minimum of three meeting dates/times that you'd like to attend (and that fit around your class schedule)
  • Each business day from September 1-September 10 (excluding September 6 when the University is closed for Labor Day), you will receive an email from Ms. Kristin Brewster with the meeting schedule and links when applicable.(we cannot list them directly on this website for Zoom security reasons)
  • Go to the meeting at its scheduled time. Engage and ask questions! (Be professional!)
  • Student organizations will gather attendance information to submit to FEP.
  • If you have questions after the event, or if you'd like to check that you received credit for attending your three meetings, you can email us at Statler-FEP@mail.wvu.edu to double check.
