  • In my free time, I spend plenty of time at the Student Recreation Center working out or participating in group classes like yoga, and/or at home working on different projects related to 3D printing and tinkering!

Fun Fact

I am a fourth generation Christmas Tree Farmer and some of my earliest memories are from working on the farm I grew up on.

Favorite Thing About WVU and Statler College

My favorite thing about West Virginia University and the Statler College is how welcoming, helpful, and supportive faculty, staff, and other students are during classes, events, and extracurriculars. Wherever you find yourself on campus, you'll find a family of mountaineers with you ready to take on and go first into any challenge, assignment, or event that meets you!

Advice for Prospective Students

The best advice I can give to prospective students would be to never be afraid to ask questions, get involved and be yourself! It's never too early to get into research, student groups or anything else you may be interested in, Statler College or university-wide! Get comfortable with your classmates and professors and find out what is available to you! There's plenty to get involved with, and it will only help to build a network and support system at your home away from home, the same way it did for plenty of current students and alumni!
