I am very active in SME and I am the current program coordinator for the organization. I actively volunteer in SME events such as working with the Boy Scouts and for with the Pittsburgh SME section.

Through my Internship experience, I have been able to achieve my West Virginia miners certification.

Advice for Prospective Students
Get involved. There are many organizations that you can get involved in that can be beneficial to your college career. I personally got involved in the Mining Engineering professional society and got an internship my freshmen year.
