Favorite Thing About WVU and Statler College
My favorite thing about WVU is the incredible variety of clubs that make it easy for every student to find a community that matches their interests. Because it's such a big college, there are opportunities ranging from academic and professional organizations to outdoors, arts, and cultural groups. My favorite thing about the Statler College is how easy it is to build close connections with other engineering students who are all working through similar challenges and supporting each other along the way. I also appreciate how accessible the professors are—they’re always willing to take extra time to help students understand material, work through problems, and succeed.
Advice for Prospective Students
Get involved, try out different clubs and organizations. Joining a club even outside of your major may help get you the connections and friends you need.
