This past summer I was a facilities engineering intern for XTO Energy, an ExxonMobil subsidiary, located in Midland, TX.

Extracurricular Activities

I am very involved with the Society of Women Engineers. We plan and organize professional development, community service, volunteering and social events throughout the school year. My favorite event we do is our Girls' STEM Day volunteering event. For this event, elementary school girls come to Statler and participate in activities geared to show them about each engineering discipline. It is a super fun day filled with all things STEM!

Fun Fact

My current roommate and best friend was the 2022-2023 Mountaineer Mascot Mary Roush so we radiate WVU pride in our home always! 

Favorite Thing About WVU and Statler College

My favorite thing about WVU and Statler College is the fact that it feels like home. The minute I stepped on this campus I knew that this was the school for me. I am the 11th member of my family to come here so coming up for gamedays and WVU hosted events has always been apart of my life. However, every single time I take the exit into Morgantown I get butterflies in my stomach. That is how I knew this was the school for me. You will always find a familiar face, a helping hand, and amazing resources. WVU, as I mentioned above, just feels like home. 

Advice for Prospective Students

Never be afraid to get involved. My greatest memories here and the closest friends I have made have come from getting involved within the university. Join clubs, go to sporting events and volunteer for everything. I promise it will change your life and grant you amazing opportunities!
