College Sampler Day
College Sampler Day
This event has been canceled for May 2020 due to restrictions related to COVID-19.
We look forward to hosting this event in May 2021.
Middle school students (6th-8th grade) and a parent/guardian are invited to join us on WVU's Evansdale campus for an opportunity to learn about majors housed within three Colleges including the John Chambers College of Business and Economics, Reed College of Media, and the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources.
After a welcome from University Relations, participants will cycle through three 45-minute stations representing majors in each of the academic units including on-camera storytelling, the engineering design process, and hospitality innovation and technology. Families will cycle through all three stations.
This free event will be limited to the first 50 families who register online. Light refreshments will be provided at the closing remarks, but breakfast/lunch will not be served.
