The Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at West Virginia University has expanded its office of enrollment and outreach with the creation of a new position designed to increase recruitment efforts in the College.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.—

Taylor Bryner, an experienced leadership consultant with a history of working in the non-profit management industry, joined the Statler College in December 2019 as the recruitment coordinator. Bryner, a native of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in higher education administration, both from Duquesne University.

“I am extremely excited about traveling and helping students make one of the biggest decisions of their early life,” Bryner said. “I’m also excited to get to know the faculty and staff in our building.”

Her primary responsibilities will include traveling to events throughout the state and country to recruit students to attend WVU and carry out their studies in the College.

“Taylor is a great addition to our team,” said Ryan Sigler, coordinator of enrollment management in the Statler College. “Being able to get into the communities, high school classrooms, and attend engineering and computer science competitions will help students and families learn more about the Statler College and hopefully get them to campus for a visit.”
