Goseva-Popstojanova, Bourlai recognized in software engineering blog

Katerina Goseva-Popstojanova and Thirimachos Bourlai have been recognized as "25 Professors of Software Engineering to Know" by OnlineEngineeringPrograms.com. The blog noted that anyone "who studies under one or more of these individuals will likely obtain a high-quality and useful education."

Goeseva-Popstojanova conducts research in the areas of software risk assessment and computer security and survivability, among others, and teaches in the areas of computer security, software engineering, software reliability and performance and software verification and validation.

Bourlai researches face recognition, image and video processing and other fields. His teaching interests include analysis of algorithms, programming, biometrics, discrete math and pattern recognition.
