Ning, Xiaopeng
Education
PhD: Iowa State University - Industrial Engineering
MS: Iowa State University - Agricultural Engineering
BS: Beijing Institute of Technology - Electronics Engineering
Dr. Ning's research interests are in the area of industrial ergonomics, spine biomechanics
and work stress modeling. His previous research has been focusing on the assessment
of occupational risk factors as well as the basic biomechanics of human body, where
he strives to reveal the underlining mechanisms that cause physical dysfunctions
among workers from different industries. His recent work focuses on the investigation
of basic biomechanical functions of low back musculature and the development of
a new work-rest scheduling model.
