Lodging and Travel
Reservations have been made at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place. A block of rooms has been reserved for both Friday (3/27/2020) and Saturday (3/28/2020) nights at a group rate of $149.00 for a “standard room, single.” These rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 12%) that are in effect at the time of check-out.
Reservations for the event will be made by the individual attendee directly by on-line reservation link or group code, to be provided by Hotel upon execution of the agreement, or by contacting the Hotel’s central reservations department at 1-800-630-2594 or by calling the Hotel at (304) 296-1700. Attendees should identify themselves by the Group code and or the EVENT Name to receive the group room rate.
Cut off date
In order for attendees to receive the Group room rate, reservations must be received no later than Friday, March 6, 2020 (“Cut-Off Date”). At the Cut-Off Date, Hotel will release any unreserved rooms into general sale and will determine whether it will accept additional reservations at the Group rate.
No show charge
Individual guaranteed reservations that “no show” will forfeit one night room and tax to be charged to guaranteed credit card.
Check-in / Check-out
Check-in time is any time after 4:00 PM. Guests arriving before 4:00 PM will be accommodated, as rooms become available. Checkout time is 12:00 PM. We request that guests attending functions on the day of departure check out before 12:00 PM. Arrangements can be made for luggage storage through the front desk.
The Hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to property of the Company or group members while on Hotel premises.
Getting to Morgantown
Morgantown is located in the northern part of West Virginia (five miles from Mason-Dixon
Line) at the intersection of interstate highways I-79 and I-68. The city is conveniently
located approximately 75 miles (120 km) from Pittsburgh (PA) International Airport
(code PIT); about 200 miles (320 km) from Dulles International Airport (code IAD),
in Washington, D.C.; about 300 miles (483 km) from Niagara Falls, New York; approximately
380 miles (611 km) from Newark Liberty International Airport (cod EWR), in Newark,
New Jersey; and about 400 miles (643 km) from John F. Kennedy International Airport
(cod - JFK), in New York, New York.
The closest airport to the meeting headquarters is
Hart Field Morgantown Municipal Airport
(code MGW). Daily flights are offered to and from the Washington D.C. Dulles
International Airport and Pittsburgh International Airport. The conference center
is about 10 minutes away (by bus or taxi) from Hart Field Airport.
For ease of convenience, the Grey Line Mountain Bus runs a shuttle from Pittsburgh
International Airport to Morgantown twice a day.

Connellsville, Pennsylvania, and Greensburg, Pennsylvania, have Amtrak stations that
are located 37 miles (59.2 km) and 64 miles (102.4 km) from Morgantown, respectively.
A Personal Rapid Transit system is a unique on-demand automated means of transportation for members of the Morgantown community to travel inside the city. It connects the Downtown, Evansdale and Health Sciences campuses of West Virginia University.
