In the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at West Virginia University, you will find everything you need to be successful throughout your college experience, during your career and in your life.
Our unique freshman year will introduce you to the different types of engineering offered at WVU while helping you develop the confidence and skills in math, science, and engineering you'll need in the future.
Study labs, tutoring, learning centers, and mentors will provide the extra support you may need. Dedicated freshman advisors are available to help you discuss your courses or any other problems you may encounter, with an open door policy.
You also will have the opportunity to gain professional and leadership experience by engaging in research, internships, our Cooperative Education Program, a study abroad experience, and by getting involved in one or more of the many clubs and organizations in our college.
Contact us by email or by phone at 304.293.0395 if you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit to our college. We look forward to meeting you!
