One of the best ways to learn more about the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources and West Virginia University is to plan a visit. After all, there's no better way to see if WVU is the right choice for you, than to experience everything the University has to offer, first-hand.
Held once per semester, our visitation day is set up to give you a more in-depth look at the Statler College.
The Spring 2013 Visitation Day will be held on Saturday, April 6.

Each department program will last approximately 45 minutes. The programs will showcase student work from each department including senior design projects, undergraduate research and student organizational activities. Some departmental demonstrations include computer aided design and manufacturing, alternative fuels vehicle, Solar Decathlon, concrete canoe competition, hand recognition device, lunabotics robot, nanotechnology, and much more.

If you have already visited West Virginia University through the Visitor's Resource Center, meeting with an engineering advisor or a Statler Ambassador and a tour of the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources is another great way to experience what you could be a part of at WVU.
If you are interested in experiencing life as a WVU student, arrangements can be made, as a part of these visits, for you to have the opportunity to sit in on an engineering class or even shadow one of our current students for a day.
