Dr. Eck's experience and interests are in the areas of traffic engineering, traffic safety, pedestrian and bicycle transportation, forensic engineering and technology transfer. He now serves as Senior Advisor with WV LTAP where he provides technical assistance to local governments and conducts workshops. He has developed and/or taught a variety of traffic engineering, safety and roadway design related workshops and courses. He has served as a member or team leader on over thirty Community Design Team visits throughout West Virginia.

Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) trainer nationally on local road safety and traffic engineering topics.
Provide forensic engineering services to attorneys, roadway agencies, and transportation-related corporations in the areas of roadway design, traffic operations, pedestrian/bicycle transportation, and accident reconstruction.
